update

training has been good! made some great friends. all from the south-ish. they think it's funny that i'm from cali (as they say). have something exciting to show y'all when i get back!

was able to go back to a familiar place from last year and it was such a blessing! the Father is so good and completly faithful!

tomorrow we leave for our main city and there will be some blockage do to some strike. lift up our travels. my teammate is quite sick. she is on antibiotics. lift up her health and her spirits, (she's just feeling cruddy). i have the rhea already, but as long as i can manage a 4 hour taxi ride tomorrow, i will be fine. :) i did wake up with a black tongue this morning and was quite afraid. after some asking, i came to find out it was the residual of the pepto-bismol tablet i took the previous evening. no black-harry tongue for me!!

monsoon season is also upon us. again, lift up safe travels to our destination city. also, that the weather does not keep us from doing the Father's work.

thank you for your prayers-love you! -cs

here at last!

after quite a bit of travel time, i'm at last back in south asia! i didn't think it would come this soon, but PTL that it did! it i very cool here and raining tonight. tomorrow we go to town to lift up the people we will be working with. i think my team will be eating at an old fav restaurant of my mine-mcdonald's. ;)

will meet my field working tomorrow-exciting! ask for safe travels for him.

our task is kind of random, but i am excited. please ask the Father for boldness and that apathy would be far from us. also, continue to ask that Sarah and i would be unified so that people will know that we come in the name of the Son.

thank you! -cs

Tomorrow

tomorrow i head out and i am SO excited! i still am in shock that the Father as allowed this, but am excited that it is happened. again, thanks to those that have helped me financially and prayerfully.

i was trying to think what to blog about before i left and all i could think about was reminding everyone why i am going. it is not for me, (although i am SO excited and blessed to go). i go because so many have yet to hear the good news, so i must go out of simple obedience.

so many need to hear. so many need to know. it IS urgent, it IS pressing. please, PLEASE, catch the vision, catch the glory of seeing so many bow before the King. please remember that in His hands and His work do i go.

ok, enough soap box.

Please Pray

the latest news has some not so good stuff about the South Asian region.

please pray for the field workers and their safety as well as their ability to stay strong doing this time of devastation.

please pray for the locals, that they may be receptive to the Father and his truth during this time.

pray for open doors and boldness.

also, pray for courage as i face people reminding me of the un-secure region called "the world." we get so safe in our idea of the safe america and seem to forget that there is a world of pain and hurt and suffering and death all around us.

please ask the Father that this will be the end to the visa paperwork fiasco and that i will have favor with the Indian consulate so that i can get a visa.

thank you!

tickets!

A few days ago, my plane tickets were ordered!! WOW! It is super exciting!

My family told me today that people have been receiving support letters and responding in different ways. Thank you to those of you who have been able to support finical, but a special thanks to those who are committing to pray for this trip. God is going to do some great things, but prayer has to be a part of it!

Matthew 9:36-38
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
